A funny Duck video from Disneyland

So, when we were going on It's a Small World there were two ducks who really liked to swim in the water. However, it always looked like they were going to get crushed by the boats...but...just take a look!

It was really funny in person. I just hope I caught the hilarity of it on video!

Disneyland!

My parents invited Blake and I to Disneyland for 6 days!! It was amazing! We were able to spend all 6 days in Disneyland and we did a lot of things. We even did things that I hadn't done before! It was an much needed vacation and we are excited to go again sometime this summer! Wahoo! I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted, but I got a few...mostly it's because I forgot I had a camera with me. Here are some pictures from our adventures!
On the Tea Cups! Probably our favorite ride.
 Dumbo the Flying Elephant!!
Our last ride at Disneyland...the Tea Cups. :)

Just in case...

Just in case anyone really cares...I added my bridal pictures online so they can be viewed. I would actually like some feed back because I need to choice one for a 16x20 for my parent's. The one I picked looked funny and my nephew also drew all over it. So, if you have a moment just look and them and comment on which one you think would be a good one for my parents to have on their wall next to Andrea's. Thanks!! Oh, there is a link to my bridal pictures on the side under pictures.

New Year's Resolutions

So, I normally don't set New Year's Resolutions, but I thought I would this year. So here you go!
1. Read at least 12 new books this year. (I have actually already finished one) It should be a good goal because there are a lot of books that I haven't read that I really want to read. And this resolution is for books I haven't ever read before, not books that I am rereading.
2. Read my scriptures everyday.  I struggle with this sometimes, especially if I have had a late night. But the month of January is being spent trying to find a really good time to read them and just go from there. I have only a missed 2 days this month, so I think I'm doing better!
3. Read the Book of Mormon at least twice through. This one will probably be my hardest, but I am determined!
4. Write down impressions when I receive them. For example, in church, when something really stands out to me I need to write it down to remember it!
5. Make a green smoothie at least 4 times a week. Really struggling with this one because our New year has actually been really really busy, but Blake and I both want to do this to help us be just a little bit healthier.
6. Go to Curves 3 to 4 times a week. I was already doing this, so I want to keep on going! I love Curves!

And that's all I can think of right now. I think it will help me to stay more focused on the important things in life rather then just leaving it all up to chance. I am hoping to get myself into a habit with all of these things, so that I will just do them. But we all know how habits are...sometimes they are hard to break, but most of the time, if you aren't dedicated, then they just fall through the cracks. Hopefully writing them down and seeing them frequently will help me to keep up with them and just try to do a little better this year.

Christmas!

Yes, I am finally writing about Christmas. Christmas this year was interesting. For some reason I was kind of ornery. That the best way to enjoy Christmas, but I guess just the stress of being around family all day everyday was just taking it's toll by that day. I love my family and Blake's family dearly, but sometimes...I just can't handle being around a lot of people all of the time. But all in all it was a great Christmas! Blake got me a new set of scriptures with my married name on it. I was actually really surprised! I think I mentioned to him once that I should get new scriptures because if I lost my scriptures in church no one would know who Aubrie Clegg was but us and my cousin Becca! He also got me a new jewelry cabinet/box thing. I really like it! I have been wearing more earrings and such because all of my jewelry is actually organized! Wahoo!!
Blake got an Xbox 360 and a few games to go with it. He loves it! It's actually really fun for him to be able to play Halo with all of his buddies who have Xbox's. Even though he knew he was getting an Xbox, he was still really excited to open it. Lol.
We also got a lot of things from our parents. We were really spoiled this year!! I think our favorite things were a new Bluray player with a ton of movies to go with it, and Blake loves this new gadget he got where he can control all of our electronics...tv, Wii, Bluray, Xbox...etc all from his phone! It's actually really cool! So this is another Thank you to all of those who gave us gifts! You are all amazing! Here is a picture from Christmas Eve that my cousin Becca took of Blake and I.

Not the best picture of us, but that's the only one taken of us around Christmas that I have. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happier New Year!!

Oh boy...update needed!

So, Blake has officially taken over my laptop. It's easier to take to school then his, so I only get to use my laptop when he is sleeping. Lol. You might be thinking, why don't you just use his laptop? Here is the reason...I try and I fail. His laptop is just set up the way he likes it, so it's just hard for me to get use to. I'd rather just not mess with it. But since he has horded mine...it's similarly set up like his laptop. I just can't win. Luckily, I still have my tablet (NEWSFLASH!! I got a Samsung tablet from my parent's for graduation. I love it!) but I can't update my blog using my tablet. But Blake takes the tablet to his parent's house, or to school, so sometimes I don't even have that! Are you sensing a pattern? Yes, Blake has full control over all electronics! Should this bug me? I would say yes, but for the most part he makes sure it's ok with me before he takes things or changes thing. But there are other times where he just does it even though I say no...hmm...interesting?

Anyways, on a slightly more happier topic, I finally got a job!! I work at Primary Children's medical center. It is probably the greatest place to work! My co-workers are great and they really are interested in getting to know me better and wanting to help me out the best they can. It's great to actually have a career and to be doing what I learned in college and apply my learning. Even though I'm only working part time, I still get extra hours just in case someone is sick or just needs to have someone cover their shift.  Primary Children's moto is "The child first and always." Whenever I see that I know my job is stressful, but it's worth it. I always think, "What if this were my child, wouldn't I want the best care taken for them as possible?" That makes me do my job better and more careful.

Last, but not least, my sister is prego!!! I get a new niece or nephew in April. We are all so excited! Hoping to  be able to visit them when the baby is born. We'll see. :)

Time for an update!

So, I'm done with school. Yes, totally done with school. I can't believe it! I'm a BYU graduate!!! Wahoo! Blake and I are celebrating/relaxing after a long six months of an internship. Now, the job hunt begins. I have applied for a few jobs and even have gotten an interview, but I haven't heard back from any of them. Ugh. I guess that's what happens after college!
